Arthur Lawrence is urgently looking for QA Audio/Video Tester in Mount laurel, NJ.

Must haves: 

• Must have a minimum of 5 - 7 years in Audio and Video testing environment
• Demonstrated skills in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related processes; experience in Agile/Scrum product development methodologies
• Familiarity with Cable TV systems including VOD products, technologies and industry trends
• Linux, Unix, and Windows XP Operating Systems
• Familiar with Agile/SCRUM methods, processes, practices
• Understanding of Cable TV billing system interfaces, specifically CSG and AMDOCS, and have proven ability to troubleshoot problems with billing system environments
• Proficiency with requirements management, test case management and defect tracking software such as HPQC, and RALLY
• Familiarity with development environments, build systems and configuration management tools, such as CVS
• Experience w/ formal SW engineering processes, risk assessment, application of test regiments
• UNIX-based tooling/scripting languages â PERL, Python, Tc/Tkl (any)

Role and Responsibilities.

• Work with TQM-CoMPASS QA Lead Engr (QALE), Lab Architecture and TP-CoMPASS Engineering teams to define test environment requirements for TQM-CoMPASS client integrations and determine testbed readiness
• Become familiar with all relevant TQM-CoMPASS and NGOD interfaces and standards; become knowledgeable on all relevant TQM-CoMPASS program initiatives and associated client interfaces
• Interface with TQM-CoMPASS client integration teams; assist with on-boarding of new teams, produce on-boarding and training materials
• Support the advancement of TQM-CoMPASS client interface automation using available tooling
• Work closely with other COD QA team members in performing TQM-CoMPASS client integration activities
• Collaborate on TQM-CoMPASS client integration projects; support TQM-CoMPASS QALE and QA Mgr in technical/administrative matters associated with TQM-CoMPASS client integrations
• Work with TP-CoMPASS Engineering to determine QA test requirements related to COD, Back office, content management, billing and subscriber information
• Identify viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality
• Attend daily SCRUMs; Contribute to the development of Quality Assurance test philosophies and methodologies.
• Write and execute tests to validate TQM-CoMPASS products and software applications
• Produce formal test reports when requested
• Participate in Agile Sprint planning; verify requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product testability and verification.
• Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts. Participates in design, code and functional product reviews.

Nice to haves:

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the cable industry field, or in another technical field I a big plus
• Familiarity with Oracle databases including SQL scripting PL/SQL preferred
• Experience with Video On Demand (VOD) and associated features is preferred
