Job Description:
Seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our project team to provide development and sustainment services for our clients, both pre and post-implementation. This candidate will implement and/or support of various client applications.
Must Have:
- Over 5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer with one or more scripting language such as Shell, Perl or VBScript.
- Experience in administration and configuration of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Chef or Puppet.
- Experience with build frameworks and technologies such as ANT, MAVEN, Nexus.
- Experience in deployment patterns for WebSphere and Java applications
- Experience in understanding network file systems, FTP, SSL and SNMP in the context of configuration and build activities
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Working experience of writing Database queries in ORACLE or SQL SERVER or DB2 platform using tools like TOAD
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience in Public Sector Projects is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
