Arthur Lawrence is looking for a Junior Java Developer for our client in Bethesda, MD. Please the project description and respond at your earliest so we can proceed further.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience with Java Development
- Experience with technical designing and developing using Java (JDK 1.6 or above) technologies including JSP and Servlets
- Demonstrates ability to use logging frameworks such as Apache Commons, Log4J, java.util.logging package etc.
- Experience with using integrated development environments (IDE) such as Eclipse, Java Compilers, and build tools like Ant or Maven to develop and troubleshoot issues
- Strong SQL skills and / or experience with database technologies such as Postgres, Oracle or similar
- Experience with Object Oriented Technologies
- Prior experience with HTML and JavaScript
- Experience working in agile or iterative SDLCs
Nice to Have:
- Experience with one or more Java packages such as Hibernate, Spring Framework, or Axis is desirable
- Certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
