Project Overview - Sales Force is used for CRM & Wealth Management workflows. The client is looking to automate some of the existing workflows in Sales Force to Appian, which is a Business workflow tool. Sales Force will continue to be used as the target tool for CRM & for heavy reporting.
Role & Responsibilities - Looking for a Salesforce BSA who will work with business users in a complex business environment, eliciting requirements, creating business and system process flows, understanding the impact to data and data models. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills along with strong collaboration skills and experience working with multiple groups on the business and IT side. Requires Salesforce background, deep analytical skills and a solid understanding of complex relational databases.
Job Description:
- Strong communication skills to work with business users in a complex environment
- Facilitate meetings or workshops with cross functional teams to define future state workflow, data and technology solutions
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and make recommendations and possibly help create data model to help write data back to Salesforce from Appian
- Determine the optimal target state by working closely with Business stake holders and various project teams and help come up with solution options
- Experience in a user facing role and working with business users for complex business systems
- Ability to understand/analyze system requirements independently and propose optimal solutions
- Strong relational and dimensional data modeling, data analysis and experience with SQL to query and reconcile data from multiple systems
- Review other workflows (lower priority) in Salesforce and help disposition those between using Appian or using the newer Lightening tool
- Define Business and Functional Requirements for Target state
- • Define and map data requirements to support process, workflows, compliance and operational rules
• Review documentation with stakeholders and incorporate feedback to finalize specifications
• Perform impact analyses across other projects for dependencies and conflicts and update/enhance design specifications to prevent impact at implementation
• Review and clarify specifications to development team and provide ongoing BA / BSA support through development, testing and UAT

- Leverage the existing target state business process flow and come up with a system flow
• Should have a good understanding of the Salesforce technology landscape with willingness to pick-up emerging skillsets
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process re-engineering, modelling and analysis
• Create complex business process flows and maps; design, develop and test complex business process models
• Discuss business requirements with all the stakeholders for process mapping and work towards converting business use cases into implementation designs
• Gather new requirements from users, work with the technical team to implement changes and train the users on new functionalities built in the system
• Develop detailed requirement specifications in the format determined by the chosen project methodology and engagement scope which could include user stories, use cases, use case diagrams, activity and sequence diagrams, functional and non-functional requirements, process models, workflow diagrams and user acceptance tests
• Work with business users and QA team to support testing and UAT, obtaining approvals and signoffs and recommending changes as needed
• Analyze and determine the root cause of problems for data integrity and data quality issues identified through QA or by business report owners
- Help define handoffs between different teams and systems
- Wealth management industry experience is a big plus
