Job Summary

• Excellent knowledge and experience designing and developing applications and reusable components using J2EE technologies, Spring frameworks (Boot, Cloud, Core, MVC, Data, etc.), SOA architecture and REST/ SOAP WebServices
• Good knowledge of deploying and hosting applications on web and application servers (including but not limited to JBoss)
• Strong relational database skills in Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Experience in developing application using various XML and JSON technologies (Data transformations and schema validations)
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices build and deployments with ability to design scalable and performance driven applications
• Experience in multithreaded application development, caching frameworks and distributed transaction management
• Experience in Java technologies: JMS, MDB, JPA (Hibernate) or other ORM frameworks
• Experience in working with cloud environment like AWS and leveraging cloud managed/native services
• Experience and understanding of unit testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment tools

Experience: 

• 3-5 years in Java/J2EE application development
• Core Competencies: Java 7/8, Spring Framework, J2EE, REST web services, XML/JSON, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Bitbucket/Git, Open source components 

Education/Training:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science preferred
