Job Duties, Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Requirements
|
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
|
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, weekly and monthly financial reports, collect and compile accurate statistical reports.
- Audit current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billing and collections operations.
- Laision with clients to understand their requirements and ensure delivery by the billing teams.
- Ensure that the activities of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocols are in compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines and requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures.
- Review and interpret operational data to assess need for procedural revisions and enhancements.
- To participate in the design and implementation of specific systems to enhance revenue and operating efficiency.
- Analyze trends impacting charges, coding, collection, and accounts receivable and take appropriate actions to realign staff and revise policies and procedures.
- Understand and remains updated with current coding and billing regulations and compliance requirements
- Supervise billing office personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution
- Evaluate performance and provide recommendations for personnel actions to achieve maximum productivity and performance.
- Ensure that client requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner
- Manage and protect the relationship with clients (doctors) and key stakeholders
- Create plans to address client's business needs
- To Work on extensive/escalated billing/technical concerns of the clients ensuring a resolution
- To help and assist subordinates to implement checks for quality control and consistent improvement. To work closely with different departments to enhance and maximize efficiency of the department

Work Environment
|
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Casual, rapidly growing office environment.
- Temporary Remote due to Covid-19 but will need to come into the office as needed for upper management meets.

Qualifications
|
- Revenue Cycle experience: 5 years(Required)
- Management Experinence: 2 year minimum
|
Education And/Or Experience
|
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong organizational skills, be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
