This role ensures Arthur Lawrence experiences growth in priority and hunting new logos. You will be targeting new companies and expanding the executive level relationships. This position will be aligned to the Finance & Accounting (F&A) Services Practice. This role will be primarily a remote role, though strong preference will be given to candidates who are based out of Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Leverage your personal network of finance executives to secure executive-level introduction meetings to identify upcoming transactions that will result in new business for the F&A Services Practice.
- Research new F&A prospects, new contacts, and map/segment the local, regional, and national marketplace; and manage and grow contacts.
- Maintaining a consistent pipeline of opportunities for F&A.
- Closing $3M+ outsourcing engagements and $1.5M in staffing or recruiting/placement revenue.
- Attend industry conferences to introduce Arthur Lawrence to new F&A prospects and understand the latest industry trends.
- Sales Leadership/Market Segmentation Lead personal, networked-based sales pursuits.
- Work with the F&A Services Leadership, to develop the F&A client portfolio.
- Continually scan the marketplace for pending opportunities.
- Create and execute targeted outbound programs to build our Arthur Lawrence brand and surface new opportunities.
- Attend key Arthur Lawrence gatherings, conferences, and roundtables.
- Target Account Strategy Provide leadership around the sales pursuit process and proposal delivery teams for transactions you originate.
- Working with advisory and analyst firms to cultivate channel / advisory relationships.
- Identify and develop unique, F&A specific alliance partners that can drive leads to Arthur Lawrence.
- Effectively construct and tell a compelling and clear story around the value proposition both orally and in presentations.
- Representing Arthur Lawrence at relevant conferences, tradeshows, and industry forums
- Leading the development of long-term relationships with new and existing clients through careful planning, strategizing, and value creation.
Qualifications
- Experience in selling with focus in finance & accounting services.
- History of collaborating closely and effectively with delivery, operations, and practice teams in business development, relationship management, and competency building scenarios.
- Track record of driving $5M+ in total contract value on an annual basis (figures may differ for short cycle BD roles).
- Experience closing deals in the $3M to $5+ range (figures may differ for short cycle BD roles).
- At least some history of successfully selling business process outsourcing services, staffing, or recruiting/placement services or minimally, business process consulting

- Hands-on experience in Private Equity (PE) helpful
