Arthur Lawrence is urgently looking for an “Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer” for a client in San Jose, CA. Kindly review the job requirements below. Your immediate application will enable us to place you successfully
Must Have(s): -
- 5 to 7 years of experience working as an DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Node.JS, Java, or both microservice applications in production development architectures
- Hands on Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket / GitHub, Slack, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory
- Experience working with UNIX: Linux, Solaris, AIX, BSD, etc.
- Hands on experience in UNIX commands and scripting
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts: functions of firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, virtual IPs, DNS
- Knowledge of monitoring systems and operational needs
- Experience of modern web stacks and architecture (HTTP, REST)
- Hands on experience in Cloud environments – AWS, IBM Bluemix, or Azure
Nice to Have(s): -
- Strong troubleshooter, utilizing a systematic problem-solving approach
- Working experience of Dynatrace, Splunk, Spring Configuration Service, Cloud Foundry and PaaS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and to collaborate within a team
